Basic human rights are not violated systematically in Slovenia, but some irregularities and other problems can still be identified, said Slovene Ombudsman Ivan Bizjak, who blamed the situation on the poor performance of the state, which all three branches of power contribute to. Bizjak spoke to journalists on Tuesday ahead of the world day of human rights and the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
