Government Changes Electricity Tariff Scheme
Ljubljana, 10 December - SLOVENIA/GOVERNMENT/ELECTRICITY/ENVIRONMENT
The Slovene government at Thursday's session decided on a change in the electricity tariff scheme, to take effect on 15 December. Taking into account an unchanged structure of consumption, the average electricity price will increase by 6.11 percent, which is to result in a 0.29-percent increase in the 1998 inflation rate, State Secretary to Ministry of Economic Affairs Alojz Kovse stressed.
