European Commission Conducts Anti-Dupming Investigation in Acroni
Ljubljana, 11 December - SLOVENIA/EU/ACRONI/STEEL/ANTIDUMPING
The first part of the European Commission's investigation in the framework of the anti-dumping procedure against Slovenia's steel producer Acroni wound up recently with verification visits in Acroni as well as in Slovene Steelworks' companies Robo in Italy and KopoWest in Germany. According to Irena Peternelj, a representative of the Slovene Steelworks, the European Commission did not find any formal faults and the procedure can thus move forward with official calculations on the basis of the collected data and with official hearings, which are expected to be carried out in January.
