Slovenia on Military Maps: Fourth Volume

The Scientific Research Centre of the Slovene Academy of Sciences and Arts (ZRC SAZU), Slovenia's National Archives and the Ljubljana branch of the Austrian Institute for Eastern and South-Eastern Europe presented the 4th volume from the series of military maps covering the territory of present-day Slovenia from the Joseph II Land Survey (1763-1787) Friday in Ljubljana. The latest volume contains sections of the Land Survey covering the area of Gorenjska (Upper Carniola) and a small part of the historical and present-day area of Koroška. The Slovene publication is expected to consist of seven parts.
