Slovenia and the EU from 5 through 11 December
Ljubljana, 13 December - The central event this week certainly was the EU summit in Vienna, which was also attended on Saturday by Slovene Premier Janez Drnovsek and Foreign Minister Boris Frlec. The parliamentary international relations committee passed position papers for another six chapters to be discussed at EU-membership negotiations. Position papers for several fields of accession were also presented at various levels.
