Ljubljana, 19 December - The highlight of the last week before Christmas and New Year holidays was the parliament, which after years of traditional delays managed to pass the national budget before the end of the year. Overcoming a pile of political problems, the legislators also completed the Constitutional Court by electing Zvonko Fiser as the last missing constitutional judge. Also, they overwhelmingly rejected the National Council veto to the VAT Act.
