Ljubljana, 1 November - Slovenia acquired a new, 13 kilometre long section of motorway from Hrušica to Vrba in the past week. According to the National Statistical Office, inflation rose by 2.9 percent in October. Consequently, retail prices rose by the same percentage. The price of bread will be 5 to 7 per cent higher from Saturday, October 30. One hundred entrepreneurs participated in the international forum on economic growth this year in Bled, the first in 1993. Slovenia signed an international agreement with Germany on investment protection last week.
