Ljubljana, 27 December - Road carriers announced a protest road block early in the week, but put it off after their trade union SAS examined the government reply. SAS now expects the government to continue talks and observe what had been agreed upon. SAS leader Stefan Kocijancic also said the road block had only been postponed, not cancelled. "We expect the government to observe the deadlines we agreed upon and signed in the agreement," Kocijancic said. The deadline that the government and SAS set in the 30 October agreement for the final settlement of general financial disorder is 15 January.
