Arhar: "The Tolar Will not Be Tied to the Euro"

"The tolar will actually not be tied to the euro, but to the exchange with the European Economic and Monetary Union and the EU, as so far," Governor of the Bank of Slovenia France Arhar said in an interview for TV Slovenia, answering the question on how the euro will affect the fixing of the floating tolar and whether the tolar will be pegged to the euro. According to Arhar the central bank's exchange rate policy will not change and will remain based on the model of the floating tolar.
