Brdo pri Kranju, 12 January - SLOVENIA/CROATIA/N-PLANT/DRAGONJA/PORGES
Economics ministers of Slovenia and Croatia, Metod Dragonja and Nenad Porges, have examined two contract drafts on the Krsko N-Plant (NEK) together with both negotiation groups for the preparation of a Slovene-Croatian contract for NEK's legal and financial regulation. After their working meeting on Tuesday, both ministers said their attention had been focused on two key unsolved issues, i.e. NEK's management and its decommission as well as the storing of nuclear waste. Both countries have reached a very high level of understanding on all other issues, so that they are expected to regulate in full the complicated issue of NEK within two months and a half.
