Intereuropa Had a Successful Year

Intereuropa, a transport and forwarding concern managing the market with eight subsidiaries in Slovenia and the territory of former Yugoslavia as well as branch offices in the Czech Republic and Russia, operated successfully last year, according to incomplete, but financially consolidated data, and despite the fact that its turnover in forwarding declined more than had been planned. The overall profit made last year is expected to amount to SIT 1,628 billion (US$ 10 million) and thus exceed by at least 12 percent the profit made in 1997. The nett profit is to be up by two percent and total SIT 1.218 billion.
