Ljubljana, 23 January - Forthcoming enforcement of the Europe Agreement gave a fresh momentum to the parliament passing protection legislation, but lawmakers again turned down the central law which is to regulate conditions under which foreign nationals may purchase real estate in Slovenia. The government took some action to protect the name and origin of the Lipizzaner horses, passed the national programme for the adoption of acquis and delivered its position papers for the chapters of free movement of goods and competition, and government assistance.
