Slovenia Recorded One-Percent Decline in Tourists in 1998
Ljubljana, 27 January - Slovene tourist resorts received 1,797,217 visitors in 1998, recording a year-on-year decline of one percent. The first statistical data on the turnover in the Slovene tourist industry show the number of tourists was up by four percent to 103,174 last December over December 1997.
