Nearly 64,000 Scholarship-holders in Slovenia in 1997

63,616 pupils and students obtained scholarships in Slovenia in 1997, a rise of 0.4 percent from 1996, according to the data released by the National Statistical Office. The average scholarship totalled SIT 20,300 (over 200 Deutsche marks) in December 1997, up 8.8 percent from December 1996.
