Fourth Conference of European Association of Liberal, Democratic and Reformist Parties Opens

Ljubljana, 5 November - ELDR/CONFERENCE
The fourth conference of the European Association of Liberal, Democratic and Reformist Parties, entitled "New Europe", formally opened in Ljubljana this afternoon. Inauguration speeches were made by the ELDR Chairman and member of the European parliament, Willy De Clerq, and the Slovenian Prime Minister and President of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDS), Janez Drnovšek. Participants were also greeted by the President of the Democratic Party (DS), Igor Bavčar.
