Review - Slovene Economy from 6 through 12 February

Ljubljana, 14 February - Heavy snow falls this week paralyzed traffic and disrupted power supply and telephone connections. About 115,000 clients were out of power for some time and telephones were down at about 15,000 to 20,000 subscribers of the total of 770,000. Power supply disruptions were the most severe in the regions of Dolenjsko (around Novo mesto and Crnomelj) and Stajersko (the Celje region). Situation in Ljubljana was normal most of the time.
