WW II Veterans Association on German Compensations
Ljubljana, 24 February - VETERANS/COMPENSATION/GERMANY
The World War II Veterans Association of Slovenia (ZZB NOB) announced Wednesday that Slovene internees, displaced persons, concentration camp prisoners and other persons taken to Germany during World War II numbered several thousand. The association responded with the announcement to the agreement between the German federal government and the biggest German companies to set up a reconciliation fund from which compensations to forced workers from Central and Eastern Europe are to be paid.
