Joint Slovenia-NATO Air Defence Exercise Begins

Ljubljana, 9 March - NATO/MILITARY/AIR/DEFENCE
A joint air force and air defence exercise of the Slovene Armed Forces and NATO is being held in Slovenia on Tuesday and Wednesday. Conducted as a simulation of combat actions at altitudes between 600 and 3000 meters, the exercise is being carried out in the areas above the Pocek exercise grounds and the Brnik airport. An air defence unit has been deployed at Pocek to train detection, simulated tracking and acting on targets in air space.
