Money from Solidarity Fund for Partial Compensation for Drought Damage

Ljubljana, 9 November - COMMISSION/AGRICULTURE/DROUGHT
The National Council Commission for Agriculture, Forestry and Food has passed a bill providing for the allocation of money from the solidarity fund for compensation for drought losses in Slovenian agriculture this year. The Commission has proposed a special amendment to the bill according to which SIT 700 million from the fund will be earmarked for the affected municipalities in 1993, and 800 million in 1994.
