GSM Mobile Telecommunication Operator Simobil to Start Operating

Simobil, Slovenia's second network operator of the GSM mobile telecommunication, will launch its services on Thursday, 25 March, the company's General Manager Bojan Dremelj told a press conference Tuesday. Slovene stockholders hold a 75-percent share in Simobil and the foreign partner is Swedish GSM operator Telia. Simobil currently covers approximately 60 percent of Slovenia'a population and projects to reach a 90 percent covering by the end of the year.
