The presidents of the Czech Republic and the Republic of Slovenia, Vaclav Havel and Milan Kučan, declared during Thursday's talks that it was necessary to launch a renewed and far more forceful appeal to jolt the consciences of those who could bring about an end to the senseless war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
