Minister Senjur: Slovenia Ready for EU in 2003
Graz, 12 April - Slovenia is taking measures to be ready for admission to the EU by the year 2003. Provided it keeps the current pace of development and further increase it after accession, it will be an average EU member state in terms of its economic development by 2010. It will then cease to be a net receiver from the EU structural funds and will introduce the Euro, Minister of Economic Relations and Development Marjan Senjur said Monday.
