Slovene Music Days '99

Ljubljana, 13 April - SLOVENIA/MUSIC/DAYS
With soloists Sonja Pahor Torre and Matjaz Drevensek performing the overture Quodlibet by composer Slavko Suklar, the Slovene Music Days '99 opened in Ljubljana on Tuesday evening. The days, to run through 16 April, are dedicated this year to the recently deceased Slovene composer Primoz Ramovs. Keynote speaker at the opening ceremony in the Ljubljana Philharmonic Orchestra concert hall was state secretary in the ministry of culture, Majda Sirca.
