Europarliament Regrets Slovenia's Delays in Aligning Legislation; Welcomes Progress
Strasbourg, 15 April - The European Parliament formulated its positions Thursday on the European Commission reports of last November on the progress of candidate countries that have already started membership talks. The position for Slovenia, drawn up by rapporteur Roberto Speciale, regrets lack of progress in adopting Union legislation, but says the country has made some progress, particularly in the foreign and security policy and by improving its macro-economic figures.
