Slovenia Will Get 49.7 Kilometres of New Motorways in 1999

Ljubljana, 22 April - TRAFFIC/MOTORWAYS/DARS
This year's programme of construction, management, maintenance and reconstruction of motorways in Slovenia totals SIT 87.7 billion (US$ 490 million), which is the largest sum so far. As much as 91 percent of the funds will be spent on the construction of new motorways. This year's target is to finish and open 49.7 kilometers of new four- and two-lane roads.
