Parliament Adopts Chemical Weapons Act
Ljubljana, 28 April - PARLIAMENT/CHEMICAL/WEAPONS
The National Assembly passed a Chemical Weapons Act through a fast-track procedure on Wednesday. The law will enable a comprehensive implementation of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and Their Destruction. Effective since 1997, the document was signed by Slovenia in January 1993.
