Slovenia, Denmark Expect Higher Investments

Ljubljana, 11 May - Trade exchange between Slovenia and Denmark has increased rapidly in recent years, rising from US$ 42 million in 1992 to US$ 130 million in 1998. The countries will seek to consolidate their economic ties by turning to higher forms of cooperation, a move resulting from the agreement for the stimulation and protection of investments which was signed Tuesday, State Secretary for External Economic Relations Vojka Ravbar and Danish ambassador Kjeld Juel Petersen, who signed the document, said Wednesday after the second session of the mixed Slovene-Danish Commission for Economic Co-operation.
