Economic Trends: Higher Domestic Demand in March

Domestic demand surged in March by 14.4 percent, fueled by consumer demand (20.5%) and investments (7.7%). Export demand on the other hand was lower, with both imports and exports going down. Following the Russian crisis Slovene economy increased trade with the European Union and ex-Yugoslav republics, the Economic Trends magazine says in the April issue.
