NEK at Half Power

Krško, 21 May - ENERTY/N-PLANT/KRSKO/OVERHAUL
Slovenia's only nuclear power plant, Krsko's NEK, is again ready to operate at full capacity after it was reconnected to the power supply system this Wednesday following the nearly two-month general overhaul. However, it currently operates at half power because of dispatch service limitations, the plant's director Stane Rozman said Friday. The limitation has been introduced for an unlimited period of time as there is currently enough low-cost power from hydroelectric power plants.
