1999 GDP Growth Projected at 3.5 Percent

Ljubljana, 24 May - A sustained, relatively stable but somewhat lower economic growth rate may be expected in Slovenia in 1999 based on current developments, market trends and the domestic demand volume, analysts of the Chamber of Economy (GZS) said in its official bulletin. The GDP growth rate is thus expected to reach 3.5 percent in 1999 and edge up to 3.7 percent in 2000, GZS said.
