International Conference: Is Independent Media the Key to Peace in the Balkans?

Will journalists, who are supposedly independent of the current politics of the respective countries, finally contribute to the alleviation of the Balkan crisis? On Thursday, representatives of non-governmental media from all the Balkan countries, certain Western European countries and the US met in Ljubljana for the second time in an attempt to find an answer to this question.
