Ljubljana, 3 June - GOVERNMENT/SESSION
The government considered the stopping of criminal investigations into certain cases of suspected public property violations in privatisation procedures and the resignation of Barbara Brezigar, head of an organized crime-fighting group of state prosecutors. The government will ask state prosecutor general Zdenka Cerar to inform the government by 1 August about the reasons that led state prosecutions to stop prosecution in all cases where violation of public property was suspected, Vice-Premier Marjan Podobnik, who raised the issue, said after the government session.
