Ireland: Slovenia Should Join the EU in the First Round of Expansion
Ljubljana, 8 June - An Irish Foreign Ministry delegation led by Frank Cogan, deputy foreign minister in charge of European affairs, started a two-day visit to Slovenia on Tuesday. After meeting Slovene Minister for European Affairs Igor Bavcar, Cogan said that Slovenia as the most advanced EU candidate surely belonged to the first group of EU candidates to join the 15-nation bloc.
