Ljubljana, 9 June - Slovenia must insist on compensation payments and an equal treatment in relation to the present EU nations in negotiations with the EU on agriculture, because it is of vital interest for the protection of Slovenia's agriculture and efforts to harmonise the budget balance with the common EU budget. That shows a study on the consequences of Agenda 2000 for the Slovene agriculture discussed by the parliamentary European Affairs Commission on Wednesday.
