The 40th Jazz Festival to be Held in Ljubljana

Ljubljana will be the town of jazz from 1 to 3 July, when the Slovene and foreign jazz musicians will be performing at the 40th jazz festival in the open-air venue of Krizanke. The most prominent performer of this year's festival will be Herbie Hancock, selector Tone Jansa told in Cankarjev dom on Thursday. One of the performers at the festival will also be James Morrison, who is again expected in Ljubljana after his last year's performance at the festival. Among the accompanying events, the performances of young Slovene jazz musicians, exhibitions of jazz photographs and jam sessions after the concerts in Gajo jazz club will also be interesting.
