Weekly Review of Events in Slovenia from June 5 through 11
Ljubljana, 12 June - Along with many other countries Slovenia welcomed the UN resolution on Kosovo. Foreign Minister Boris Frlec attended the Cologne international conference that brought to life the Balkans stability pact, while Premier Janez Drnovsek was on his first official visit in Albania. Early in the week, European Ombudsman Jacob Soederman visited Slovenia, to be followed late in the week by Finland's European affairs minister who reiterated his country's commitment to continue the process of the EU enlargment.
