Last week could be labelled a week in between parliamentary sessions, a time of deliberation, comments and assessments following the adoption of the budget memorandum, which presents an important basic definition of the future expenditure of the budget funds, and as a week of business trips to Europe by some members of the Slovenian government. We survived St. Martin's Sunday and celebrated the new wine, and Ljubljana saw the end of its largest, in the past biannual cultural event, the 11th Book Fair, which included all types of literature, and which, according to nearly unanimous opinion, found itself at a crossroads where it must decide where to go from here.
