SKD Council Adopts Joint Statement
Ljubljana, 15 June - PARTIES/SKD/SLS/UNIFICATION
The council of the Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD) adopted Thursday a joint statement by which SKD and the Slovene People's Party (SLS) express the will and intent to go to the next parliamentary elections as one single party. The statement was approved by the highest bodies of both parties (SKD Council, SLS Head Committee) and is expected to be signed by party leaders Lojze Peterle (SKD) and Marjan Podobnik (SLS) in the near future.
