WIIW Marks Down Economic Growth Forecasts for Central and Eastern Europe

The Vienna Institute for International Economic Comparisons (WIIW) has marked down its initial projections in the latest study on economic trends in Central and East European reform countries for 1999 and 2000. Lower figures are based on economic indicators in the first quarter of the year and allow for the impact of the Kosovo crisis.
