Vecer: Marjan Podobnik - We Deliberately Left Personnel Issue for the End
Maribor, 26 June - Attracting capable people to politics is the main goal of the forthcoming unification between the Slovene People's Party (SLS) and Slovene Christian Democrats (SKD), but the parties also expect an improved election result as more abstainers will hopefully cast their votes, SLS leader and Vice Premier Marjan Podobnik said in an interview for daily Vecer published on Saturday. Podobnik said the new party could realistically expect to win the next elections, provided all unification procedures are carried out in time and in an orderly fashion.
