Slovenia Wants to Pay Reduced Contribution to the EU Budget at the Start of Membership

Brussels, 6 July - When negotiating full-membership with the European Union, Slovenia will attempt to gain the right to pay a reduced contribution to the EU budget in a limited transitional period immediately after being granted membership, state secretary to the Slovene ministry of finance Milan Cvikl told after the bilateral screening of legislation regulating financing and budget in Brussels.
