The Slovene-Slovak Economic Commission Concludes Session

Bratislava, 9 July - Economic ties between Slovenia and Slovakia are strengthening, with the volume of trading totalling US$ 163 million last year. Further development of economic co-operation is hampered by the absence of a system of mutual recognition of certificates, import and export levies introduced by Slovakia as a result of difficulties in the balance of payments as well as products licensing, State Secretary Vojka Ravbar said after the Slovene-Slovak economic commission has concluded its session.
