Suklje Optimistic About Adjustment of Home Affairs Legislation to EU Standards

Interior Minister Borut Suklje is optimistic about the adjustment of Slovene home affairs legislation to EU provisions, he told the press on Wednesday when speaking about his ministry's preparation of new migration legislation, and its implementation. The parliament has recently adopted three bills from the package of immigration legislation, namely the Asylum Act, the Immigrants Act and the Act on the Status of Citizens of Ex-Yugoslav Republics, all of which are key pieces of legislation from the aspect of integration into the EU.
