Media Research: Slovenske novice, Radio Slovenija 2 and POPtv Still the Most Popular

Slovenes are spending by a few minutes less time on media every year. An average Slovene daily spends over three hours (196.5 minutes) listening to radio, about two hours and a half (156 minutes) watching TV, 16.5 minutes reading daily press and only six minutes reading magazines. Similarly as last year, Val 202 had the largest radio audience (18.1%) in the first half of the year; POPtv, a commercial television station, has got the highest ratings (52.2%), while the most widely read printed media was Slovenske novice (17,9%), according to the survey presented Tuesday by the Institute for Media Research Mediana.
