Vecer on Chinese-Taiwanese Relations

Maribor, 21 July - Lee Teng-hui's new definition of Taiwanese-Chinese relations has put the U.S.'s leading role in the world yet to another test. Taiwan, often referred to by the U.S. as an example of democratisation, liberalisation and economic success, has become a noticeable member of the international community chiefly because it does not have much in common with China's political and economic reality, Vecer writes on Wednesday.
