Slovenia Safe from Kongo-Crimean Fever

Slovenia is safe from the Kongo-Crimean hemorrhagic fever, an infectious disease which has recently broken out in southern Russia. No protective measures have therefore been introduced, Dr. Ada Hocevar Grom of the Centre for Contagious Diseases told STA.*** She added that the disease is transmitted by a special type of mosquitos which are not found in Slovenia.
