Parliament to Debate Interpellation Motion Against Agriculture Minister

Ljubljana, 27 July - INTERPELLATION/MOTION/SMRKOLJ
A motion to oust the agriculture minister will be debated in parliament on Tuesday. The motion of interpellation was filed against Minister Ciril Smrkolj (Slovene People's Party - SLS) on 28 May by eleven lawmakers, who accused the minister of abusing power in changing the purpose of agricultural land in two municipalities. More precisely, the minister is accused of being responsible for the classification of agricultural land as plots to be used for construction, by which the land gained in price.
