Slovenia Denies Speculations About Reservations About Stability Pact

Slovene Foreign Minister Boris Frlec and Foreign Ministry State Secretary Ernest Petric strongly denied any speculations of a foreign newspaper about its reservations to participate in the Balkan Stability Pact. Speaking to the press on Wednesday, just a day before the Slovene delegation leaves for the Sarajevo summit, which "should officially support the pact at the highest level", both officials stressed that Slovenia "participated extremely actively" in the preparation of Stability Pact documents, and wants, in accordance with its national interests, to participate also in its implementation "actively and as a partner".
