Kucan: Peace and Development of the Balkans are in Slovenia's Interest

Ljubljana, 30 July - STABILITY/PACT/SLOVENIA
Slovenia welcomes the Balkan Stability Pact and will actively participate in it because peace and development in the South Eastern Europe are in its interest too, President Milan Kucan said in his address to the Balkan Stability Pact summit in Sarajevo on Friday. He warned, however, that the idea of a certain special political and economic region of beneficiary countries and neighbouring donor countries would repeat the mistakes of the past.
