The public was sufficiently informed about Prime Minister Janez Drnovsek's treatment and health status according to 70 percent of the 1045 respondents in a telephone public opinion poll carried out by the agency Stik on 27-28 July. 18 percent of the polled said information about the premier's health was too scarce and 11.6 percent were undecided. Premier Drnovsek has had his right kidney with a malignant tumor removed a fortnight ago.
